Dr. Matthew Davis, DDS
Diplomate, American Board of Endodontics
Dr. Davis earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah in 1995. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. There, he also received his certificate of specialty in Endodontics in 2001. Since then, he has enjoyed private practice, specializing in microscopic endodontics for over 23 years. He is actively involved in clinical research pioneering innovative ways of saving cracked and fractured teeth, as well as observational studies on external cervical resorption. He is a published author in various journals and texts primarily focused on saving compromised teeth. He enjoys teaching and has lectured on these challenging clinical subjects both locally and internationally at various dental study clubs, dental schools, post-graduate programs, and at dental and endodontics conventions.
Dr. Davis is a Diplomate (board certified) member of the American Board of Endodontics. He also has active membership in the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Illinois Association of Endodontists, Chicago Dental Society, and is a member and past president of the prestigious Edgar D. Coolidge Endodontic Study Club.
Prior to pursuing higher education, Dr. Davis lived in France for two years and speaks French. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, playing guitar, reading, and painting. His other interests include hiking, swimming, running, and has competed in triathlons.
